ABOUT

THE

PHOTOGRAPHER

I grew up in Northern Illinois and still currently reside here. Ever since I was a little girl, I loved horses and anything related to them. My parents even say my first word was ‘horse’. I started riding at age 7 and have continued on since. I now own and show my horse, Ace.

I loved taking photos of everything, and eventually bought myself a camera at 14 as a birthday present to myself. I taught myself the ins and outs of photography. I took a couple photography classes in high school, and took a professional photographer certification course in 2020. My professional photography career started and I haven’t looked back. Since then, I have had several images published in magazines, including Morgan Horse Magazine, Saddle Horse Report, and National Horseman.

Now more about me…

I adore all animals, not just horses. I have always grown up with pets in the house, such as dogs, cats, birds, fish, and even lizards. My favorite part of visiting Florida as a kid was getting to see the alligators. I thought they were SO cool.

I live with my amazing boyfriend, Jordan, our rescue cat Milo, and our adopted shelter dog Kit. We found Milo in the garage at Jordan’s old house, where he was extremely thin and cold. We took him in to a local vet to see if he had a home. When we found out he didn’t, we decided to take him in and make him a part of the family. We recently adopted Kit, who is the most adorable German Shepherd/Lab mix. She is the sweetest girl and loves to be involved in any and everything we do.

I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s with my horse, hiking, photographing nature, kayaking, etc. We hope to move out west some day, where we can have a home with land and mountain views. I may be dreaming a little, but who knows?

Anyways, enough about me. Here are some photos!

I fell in love with photography 10 years ago… and here we are.
